Laura Falzon has taught flute in both the UK and the USA at schools which include amongst others Worcester College, Malvern College and Coventry Centre for the Performing Arts. She presently teaches flute at Columbia University’s Teachers College and at her private studio in New York City.

Teaching Philosophy

"I underpin my teaching with a special attention to the individual needs of each and every student by upholding the integrity of the discipline of music while making sure that it provides learners with personal fulfillment and a sense of achievement. In my teaching, I seek a balance between my contribution to musical knowledge and skills, with that of creating an environment where students have a voice and the opportunity to develop their own musical and intellectual space."
